Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General Info – Outdoor Play Equipment

What products would you recommend for a small garden?
We offer a variety of compact outdoor play equipment perfect for small gardens. Our range includes modular climbing frames, playhouses, and trampolines in various sizes to fit different spaces. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us for expert advice.

How can I find the size and dimensions of a product?
Each product listing includes size specifications and, where possible, a dimensional drawing in the images. Please check the product images and description for precise measurements. If you need additional guidance, our support team is happy to help.

Is your play equipment suitable for commercial use?
No, all our products are tested to meet EN-71 safety standards for domestic use only and are not intended for public or commercial spaces.

Are the products difficult to assemble?
Most of our products come with detailed instructions and can be assembled using basic tools. If you’re comfortable with DIY projects, you should have no issues. The estimated build time varies by product, and having an extra pair of hands can speed up the process.

What tools are required for assembly?
For wooden play equipment, a drill, measuring tape, and screwdriver are recommended. Trampolines may require a small socket and screwdriver. Check your product manual for specific requirements.

Do I need to prepare my garden before installation?
Yes! Outdoor play equipment should be placed on flat, level ground to ensure safety and stability. Some items, like in-ground trampolines or swing sets, may require groundwork. We recommend waiting until you receive your product and review the manufacturer’s instructions before starting any preparations.

Is a safety perimeter recommended for outdoor play equipment?
Yes, we recommend leaving at least a 2-meter safety perimeter around play equipment to prevent accidents.

Product Care & Maintenance

Are cracks in the wood normal?
Yes, natural wood can experience splitting or cracking due to environmental conditions, but this does not compromise the structural integrity of the item.

Why is there green staining on some of the wood?
This is a normal side effect of pressure treatment, which helps extend the lifespan of the wood. It is completely safe and does not affect the durability of the product.

Does the wood require additional treatment?
Pressure-treated wood is durable, but for long-term care, we recommend applying a wood preservative annually. If you purchase an untreated item, you should apply a suitable wood preserver immediately upon receipt.

What maintenance is recommended for outdoor play equipment?

  • Regularly check bolts, screws, and other fastenings to ensure they remain secure.
  • Store removable parts (e.g., slides, seats) indoors during bad weather.
  • Apply wood stain or preservative yearly for added protection.

Anchors & Installation

What anchors should I use for securing play equipment?
We offer different types of anchors, including standard swing anchors and heavy-duty anchors for softer surfaces. Trampolines and climbing frames also have specialized anchor kits. For best results, we recommend securing anchors with concrete.

Can I use anchors on artificial grass?
Yes, but you will need to consider the ground conditions beneath the artificial grass. Anchors must go through the turf and be secured into the ground below. Concreting them in is recommended.

Ride-On Toys

What age range are ride-on toys suitable for?
Age suitability varies by product. Please check the Specifications section on each product page for dimensions and maximum user weight to determine if it’s suitable for your child.

Where can ride-on toys be used?
Ride-on toys are designed for use on private land only and should not be used on public roads or pavements. Check with your local authorities for any specific regulations in your area.

Are any of the ride-on toys road legal?
No, our ride-on toys, including quads, go-karts, and scooters, are not road legal and should only be used on private property.

Why are there small marks or dents on my ride-on toy?
Minor marks or indentations can occur during the moulding process and are purely cosmetic. They do not affect the function or durability of the toy.

How should ride-on toys be stored?
We recommend storing ride-on toys indoors when not in use. For electric ride-ons, avoid using them in wet conditions and wipe them dry if they do get wet.

What maintenance do ride-on toys require?

  • Regularly check and tighten fastenings, bolts, and screws.
  • Charge electric ride-ons monthly, even if they are not in use, to preserve battery life.
  • Follow manufacturer instructions for petrol-powered ride-ons, including proper fuel drainage.

Warranties

Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, our products include a manufacturer’s warranty, typically 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Warranty terms can be found in the Specifications section of each product page.

Yes! We provide a professional home installation service for select products, including climbing frames, swing sets, and trampolines. You can add this service at checkout for applicable items.

What does the installation service include?
